About Dexter & FWD Motion

From Discipline to Transformation: Why I Built FWD Motion

My fitness journey didn't start with a "quick fix." It started with the realization that the most meaningful outcomes in life—whether survival, security, or peak performance—are never accidental. They are the product of deliberate design.

My background in the military and technology taught me that in high-stakes environments, success isn't about intensity alone; it's about the infrastructure you build beneath your feet. In the chaos of combat and the complexity of enterprise systems, I learned that precision, structure, and reliability are the keys to staying safe and effective.

I apply that same uncompromising standard to your fitness.

Whether you're a beginner just starting your path, a busy professional balancing high-level demands, or an athlete pushing for your next peak, I provide the framework to help you succeed. Too many people are chasing the next "magic" routine while ignoring the variables that actually build sustainable results. At FWD Motion, we don't just give you a plan; we coach the methodology so you can own your results.

Whether it's hitting a new personal best in the weight room or simply reclaiming your body to build practical strength to help you carry the weight of life, my strategies are designed to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Coaching is a partnership. I bring the rigorous—but flexible—approach and the accountability; you bring the effort and the trust. Together, we make it stick.

Ready to move forward? Let's map out your goals and start your journey.

Our philosophy

We bring the system. You bring the work.

01

Consistency over intensity

Repeatable habits that compound week after week.

02

Accountability you can feel

Weekly check-ins, training reviews, and direct coach access.

03

Hybrid by design

In-person and virtual coaching sessions, coaching paired with programming and support between sessions.

04

Honest progress

Measure what's actually changing and adjust without ego.

Right fit

Who FWD Motion is — and isn't — for.

THE MINDSET THAT WON'T WORK—

  • Chasing aesthetics without building performance.
  • Looking for shortcuts instead of progressive overload.
  • Constantly changing programs before results have time to compound.
  • Ignoring recovery, conditioning, and movement quality.
  • Wanting PRs without putting in consistent work.

THE MINDSET WE NEED—

  • Building strength with purpose.
  • Training for performance and physique development.
  • Trusting a structured process.
  • Embracing accountability and feedback.
  • Pursuing measurable progress week after week.
  • Committing to becoming stronger, fitter, and more resilient over time.

Our promise

Real strength is built through structured progression, not shortcuts.

Show up, trust the process, and watch the numbers move.
